It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel Joseph Nokusis, late of Sturgeon Lake, SK, on April 28, 2019 at the age of 85 years. Daniel was born on February 19, 1934 in Lorlie, SK, to parents: Edwin and Margaret (nee Sayer) Nokusis.

Daniel is survived by his sons: Raymond and Bradley Daniels; his daughters: Mary Rose (Richard) Daniels, Hazel (Gilbert) Daniels, Elaine Daniels, Noreen (Harvey) Daniels, Deanna (Chad) Ermine, Roseanne (Wayne) Daniels and Miranda (Dwayne) Ballantyne; his special grandchildren: Leann (Terrance) Daniels, Camille Daniels, David Ermine, Anthony Daniels and Danny Daniels; his special niece and nephew: Andrea (Clifford) Daniels and Clifford Daniels; his god children: Elaine Walker, Irene Turner and Alvin Ermine; and 36 grandchildren, 68 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Daniel is predeceased by his wife: Alma Daniels; his parents: Edwin and Margaret (nee Sayer) Nokusis; his sisters: Florence Pelletier, Evelyn Tanner and Harriet Tanner; his twin brother: Raymond Nokusis; his brothers: Archie Nokusis, Edward Lerat and Robert Pelletier; his grandchildren: Sarah Ermine, Gracie Lewis, Cherish Daniels and Raven Ermine; and his great-grandchild: Chanelle Longjohn.

A Wake Service will be held on Tuesday April 30, 2019 at 2:00PM, located at the Sturgeon Lake Community Center in Sturgeon Lake, SK. A Funeral Service will then be held on Thursday May 2, 2019 at 2:00PM located at the Sturgeon Lake Community Center in Sturgeon Lake, SK.
