It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mary Martha Johnson, late of Canwood, SK formerly Sturgeon Lake, SK on February 13th, 2021, at the age of 92 years. Mary was born on August 5th, 1928, in La Ronge, SK.  Mary will be lovingly remembered by her children Joyce Johnson-Ratt, Tina Johnson (Lester B), Dennis Johnson; her grandchildren Lloyd (Dorothy), Amy, Racheal, Jacob, Alfred, Dennis, Benjamin, Dana, Jonas (Katasha), Jason, Kerry, Cura, Tracey (Scotty), Lee, Virginia, Mildred, Mary, John, James, & Jason as well as many numerous great-great grandkids; her sisters-in-law Irene Naytowhow; her brothers-in-laws Sydney Naytowhow & Gerald (Sylvia) Naytowhow.  Mary was predeceased by her parents Benjamin (Maggie (Ross)) Roberts; her husband Lloyd Johnson; her sisters Maggie Charles, Annie Halkett, Maggie Ross, Agnes Charles, Nancy, Violet Naytowhow, Isabella; her brother John Roberts.  A Wake Service will be held on Wednesday, February 17th, 2021, at 4:00 pm at Johnson Hall in Sturgeon Lake, SK.  A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 19th, 2021, at 11:00 am at Johnson Hall in Sturgeon Lake, SK.  The officiant will be Sam Halkett.  Her honourary pallbearers are all those who shared in Mary’s life.  Her pallbearers are Lloyd Johnson, Leslie Naytowhow, Jason Halkett, John Naytowhow, Jonas Halkett, & Bob Naytowhow.  The Interment will take place at West Central Cemetery in Sturgeon Lake, SK.  Condolences can be sent to the family on our website at www.mackenziechapel.ca.  Arrangements in care of MacKenzie Chapel & Crematorium – Shellbrook Funeral Home.  Brian & Bev Stobbs, Renee Phaneuf & Mark Gyoerick. 306.763.8488.
