It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Lena Agnes Peters, late of Sturgeon Lake, SK on June 16th, 2021, in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 75 years. Lena was born in Sturgeon Lake, SK on March 14th, 1946. Lena is survived by her children/grandchildren/great grandchildren Kavia (Perry) Burns of Spruce Home, SK; Sara (Lyle): Maddy, Kaylee, Whisper; Michelle (Len): Taya, Ceran, Elle, Taten; Steven (Fern): Aidre, Eziah; Chris: Josh, Chris Jr., Abraham, Dante, Lovelle, Jayna; Katie (Kato): Graham, Sikwan; Jasmine (Tristin); Denzel; Craig; Harold Peters Sr. of Sturgeon Lake, SK; 3 grandsons she raised Harold Jr. (Jasmine) Peters: Kisa, Keano, Keon, Kai; Mason (Eryn) Peters: Nancy, Hunter, Keyden; Jeremy Peters; Katherine Peters (Pelican Lake, SK): Leroy; Lorie (Rob) Peters-Whiteman of Air Ronge, SK; Kayla (Benji): Audrey; Adopted sons/nephews she raised Kevin (Lisa) Peters of Prince Albert; Jeovanna, Seneca; Melvin (Jamie) Peters of Sturgeon Lake; Johnny, Jazlyn, Glorie, Bailey, & Ryder; Her adopted children Vincent (Tania) Ermine, Muskowekwan, SK; & Donna Ermine; Special Nieces and Nephew Leona (Joe) Munroe of Prince Albert; SK; Patrick (Shelley) Peters of Surrey, BC; Stephanie Peters of Prince Albert, SK and numerous other nieces and nephews and their children. Lena was predeceased by her parents McKay & Catherine Peters; Her partner: Alex Ermine; Father of her children Robert (Bob) Mirasty Sr.; Her brothers and sisters Pauline Royal, Jewel Littlecrow, Ina Ahenakew, Irvin Peters Sr., Louise Peters, Marlene Peters; (in infancy: Ella, Clifford, Joyce, Sylvia); Frank Joseph, Louis Peters, Roy Peters & Edgar Peters & Her granddaughter Monica Burns. A Wake Service with Ordained Ministers Rozella Carney & Gene Ermine will be held on June 17, 2021, at 7:00 pm. Gospel singers are Ashley & Chad Martin. A wake will be held at Sturgeon Lake School Gym. A Funeral Service will be held on June 18, 2021, at 2:00 pm at the Sturgeon Lake School Gym. A Traditional Ceremony morning of the burial.
