Agatha Germaine (Mercredi) Powder

Powder, Agatha Germaine (Mercredi), late of Prince Albert, SK, passed away February 26, 2012 in Prince Albert, at the age of 78 years. Agatha was born in Fond du Lac, SK on October 13, 1933, and will be lovingly remembered by her daughters: Peggy Sanderson of Yellowknife, NWT, Betty Powder (Wolfgang) of La Ronge, SK, Debbie (Peter) Rybchinski of Yellowknife, NWT, Wanda Powder of Prince Albert, SK, and Darlene Powder (Darryl) of Yellowknife NWT; her sons: Bill Robert (Cyndi) Powder of Yellowknife, NWT, Ken (Mary) Powder of Yellowknife, NWT, Rex Lorne Jr. (Mary-Rose) Powder of Fort Smith, NWT and Dwayne Powder of Saskatoon, SK; her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends; her sister Harriet (Firman) Beaulieu of Yellowknife, NWT; her brothers: Lawrence (Paulette) Mercredi of Yellowknife, NWT, Raymond Mercredi of Grise Fiord, NWT, and Albert (Irene) Mercredi of Fort Smith, NWT. Agatha was pre-deceased by her companion: Howard (Shott) Quintal; her mother Marie Gat'u; her father Billy Mercredi, her step-mother Annie Mercredi; and her brother Peter Mercredi.

A Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 29, 2012, 3:30-4:40 pm, and 7:00 pm- 8:30 pm, at MacKenzie Chapel, Prince Albert, SK.

A Wake will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at 6:00 pm, at 5114 Forrest Drive, McKenna Funeral Home, Yellowknife, NWT.

A Funeral will be held Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at 1:00 pm, at St. Patrick's Parish, Yellowknife, NWT, with Father Angelo Benedict officiating.
