Anne (Mykytiuk) Mazemiuk

Maxemiuk (nee Mykytiuk), Mrs. Anne late of Prince Albert, SK passed away on July 24, 2013 in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 93 years. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter: Violet; her son: David (Marion) and their son: Austin; her other grandchildren: Devon (Shelley) and their children: Avery and Trey; Roslyn (Joe) and their children: Taylor, Hannah and Chase; Lane; Natalie (Ryan) and their children: Halee and Noah. She is also survived by her sister: Mary Hallas and her children: Sharon, Ron, and Marty (Joanne). She was predeceased by her husband: Mike in 1987; her son: Fred in 2007; her mother and father: Annie and Bill; her brothers: John and George; her 3 sisters in infancy; her brother-in-law: Martin Hallas and nephew: Richard Hallas. Mom was born in the Wakaw district. She moved to Hamilton, ON to seek employment. She met her husband Mike there and they were married in 1944. They then moved back to Saskatchewan to a farm in the Sheho area. They moved to Prince Albert, in 1956. Mom enjoyed being a homemaker. She also enjoyed gardening, knitting, embroidery, quilting and playing cards with family and friends. In lieu of other tributes those wishing may make donations in memory of Anne may give to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, 279 3rd Ave N, Saskatoon, SK S7K 9Z9. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 10:00 am at the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Church, Prince Albert, SK. Interment to follow in South Hill Cemetery, Prince Albert, SK.
