Anne Weleski

WELESKI, Anne late of Prince Albert, SK passed away on October 6, 2010 in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 87 years. Anne was born on November 1, 1922 in Caribou, MN USA. She immigrated to Canada in 1925 and the family settled in the Strongpine District. Anne worked on the family farm with her parents until she moved to Prince Albert in 1968. She resided here in Prince Albert with her father and brother John until their passing. Anne enjoyed gardening and always had a large selection of flowers in her care. Anne is survived by her brothers Joseph (Dorothy) Weleski of Meath Park, SK and Walter (Louise) of Spirit River, AB; her sister Victoria Toporowski of Prince Albert, SK; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Anne was predeceased by her parents Nick (Sophie) Weleski; her sisters Mary Sokoliuk, Katie Pidborchinski, Alice Mischuk, Olga Dorian and Rose Sloan and her brother John. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at 10:30 am in Northern Funeral Service-MacKenzie Chapel, 130-9th Street East, Prince Albert with Rev. Fr. Michael Lomaszkiewciz officiating. Interment Prince Albert Memorial Gardens.
