Annie (Bakker) McKay

Annie McKay, late of Steep Creek, SK, passed away in Birchview Nursing Home on December 31, 2012 at the age of 91 years. Annie was born on May 1, 1921 in Prince Albert, SK. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Allen (Barbara) McKay, grandchildren: Cari (Frank) Prima and great-grandchildren Mason & Katelyn, and Bret (Danielle) McKay and great-grandchild Layna; and her daughter Judy (Leroy) Hadland, grandchildren: Stacey Hadland (Laura) and Kelsey, Torey (Carri) Hadland and great-grandchildren Kai & Maia, and Jana (Stuart) Porter and great-grandchildren Kaylee, Allie & Kelsey. Annie was pre-deceased by her husband William McKay, her parents Peter and Anna Bakker, and her sister Gertie Ife. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to Birchview Nursing Home, Box 578 Birch Hills, SK, S0J 0G0 or to Steep Creek Coop Cemetery Fund. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 11:00 am, at MacKenzie Chapel, Prince Albert, with Rev. Nora Vedress officiating. Interment at Steep Creek Cemetery.
