Bertha Longjohn

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Bertha Longjohn, late of Saskatoon, SK formerly of Sturgeon Lake, SK on April 17th, 2026, at the age of 93 years. Bertha was born in Prince Albert, SK on January 4th, 1933, to Jacob and Alice Longjohn. Bertha will be lovingly remembered by her children Tim (Gina) Longjohn, Melody (Bill) Curtis, Dean Longjohn, & Allan Longjohn; her siblings Faye (Stan) Laviolette, Robin (Philomina) Longjohn, Orville (Geraldine) Longjohn, & Laverne Halkett; her grandchildren Connor, Curtis, Courtney, Ava, Seth, Noah, Chance, Kyra, Keishea, Leah, Shalane, Kyle, Tamara, & Coral; her great-grandchildren Tyrell, Tony, Ben, Eli, Sadie, Cleo, Turner, Brooklynn, Jace, Wyatt, Luka, Harlow, Baylen, Emersley, Eliseah, Kaleb, & Kaden; her sister in-law Sylvia Longjohn; As well as numerous family and friends. Bertha was predeceased by her husband Allan Ferry; her parents Jacob Longjohn & Alice Longjohn; her brothers Napolean, Hubert, William, David, & Allan; her sisters Lena & Rosalie; & her sisters-in-law Catherine & Yvonne. A Wake Service will be commencing Monday April 20th, 2026, at 4PM at the Sturgeon Lake Community Centre, in Sturgeon Lake First Nation, SK. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday April 22nd, 2026, at 11AM at the Sturgeon Lake Community Centre, Sturgeon Lake First Nation, SK. The Officiant will be Community Elders. The Interment will take place at the West Central Cemetery, Sturgeon Lake First Nation, SK. The Drum Group will be Iron Swing. The Eulogy will be read by Marc Longjohn. The Honourary Pallbearers are all those who knew and loved Bertha. The Pallbearers are Chance Longjohn, Connor Longjohn, Curtis Longjohn, Seth Longjohn, Kyle Longjohn, & Noah Longjohn.
