Cheryl Fay Wessel, March 7th 1953 April 6th 2012
It is with great sadness that the family of Cheryl Fay Wessel announces her passing on Friday, April 6th 2012 at the age of 59. Cheryl was born in Prince Albert, SK on March 7th 1953 where she raised her family and continued to reside until the day of her passing. Cheryl will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 25 years Trevor Wessel; her children Karen (Curtis) Menard, Tim (Sarah) Morton, Mark (Robin) Wessel, Dustin Wessel; and her three grand-children Jamee Menard, Dylan Menard, and Austin Morton. Also left to mourn is her sister Lynn (Bob) Guest, brother Wayne Edwards, sister Penny (Fred) Mathiason, and sister Wendy (Dan) McKinley. Cheryl was predeceased by her father Earl Edwards, her mother Joyce Edwards and brothers John Brian Edwards and William Larry Edwards. Cheryl was a caring individual who cared deeply for her family. Time spent with family was time cherished by mom. We will always remember the family dinners. Cheryl enjoyed her time at the lake where she shared endless memories with her family and friends. Cheryl did many things throughout her working life all the while raising her family. For the last fifteen years, Cheryl operated her own custodial and childcare business. Countless children benefited from Cheryls love and care. Although Cheryl left us much too early, she will always live on in our hearts. A Funeral Service will be held at MacKenzie Chapel on Thursday April 12th 2012 at 1pm. Interment at South Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, at 54 11th Street East, Prince Albert, SK S6V 0Z9. Arrangements in care of Northern Funeral Service, MacKenzie Chapel.
