MEDAL- Danny Albert, late of Black Lake, passed away May 3, 2011 in Saskatoon, SK at the age of 23 years. He was born March 16, 1988 in Uranium City, SK.
Danny is survived by: his partner: Brittany Joseyounen; his son: Quinton Medal; his parents: Napoleon and Jeanette Medal; his brothers: Jason (Bernadette) Cook and Kenny Medal; his step brother: Alvin Robillard; his sisters: Tracey, Lainnie, and Iris Medal; his grandparents: Leon (Nelda) Cook; his Godparents: June Medal and Noel Toutsaint; his uncles: Edward (Elsie) Medal & family, Daniel (June) Medal & family, Vance (Brenda) Cook & family, and Richard (Cheryl) Cook & family; his aunts: Mary-Rose Medal, Florence (Joe) Renie & family, Helen (Freddie) Throassie & family, Rosanna Medal & family, Marlene (George) Kkaikka & family, Georgina St. Pierre & family, and Lillian Hanson & family, Joan Medal & family and Jullian Medal & family; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends from Black Lake, Patunik, Wollaston Lake, Stony Rapids and Fond du Lac.
Danny was predeceased by: his grandparents: John (Christine) Medal; his great-grandparents: Pierre (Shara) Sayazie, Martin (Ann) Cook; his great-great-grandparents: Gabriel (Madaline) Cook; his cousins: Melvin Medal, Gavin Medal, Doreen ShaOulle, Maureen Cheba, Marty and Matthew Sayazie; his uncle: Joseph St. Pierre and his aunt: Celine Sayazie.
A Visitation was held Friday May 6, 2011~ 4pm at Northern Funeral Service, MacKenzie Chapel, Prince Albert.
A Wake Service was held Friday, Saturday & Sunday May 6, 7 & 8, 2011 at the residence of Napoleon and Jeanette Medal in Black Lake, SK.
A Funeral Mass was held Monday May 9, 2011~ 2pm at Our Lady of the Cape Roman Catholic Church in Black Lake, SK with Father Joseph Daley officiating.
Interment in Black Lake Cemetery.
