Fion Hans Joseph Tsannie

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Fion Hans Joseph Tsannie, late of Wollaston Lake, SK on May 11th, 2026, at the age of 25 years. Fion was born in LaRonge, Sk on April 27th, 2001, to Hans Tsannie and Vrenda Kkailther. Fion will be lovingly remembered by his fur baby, best friend, & companion Kato; his parents Hans Tsannie & Vrenda Kkailther; his siblings Faron, Fionna & Sasha; his nieces Farrah & Julianna; his goddaughter Farrah; his godmother Jackie Benonie; his aunts and uncles Flora (Harry), Rosalie (Bob), George (Marlene), Therese (Edward), Anne (Benny), Janet (Jason), Marie (Henry), Angel (Brian), Gabriel, Sharon (Earl). Tracy, Alvin, Amanda, Allen, Sherry, Kerry, Rhonda, Jeannie, & Tricia; as well as numerous family and friends. Fion was predeceased by his grandparents Allen & Annie Joseyounen; his grandparents Angus & Julienne Tsannie; his cousins Julie, Ryan, Gerry, Jessica, Jacqueline, Gerard, Rodney, Dave Darrin, Dylan, Marvin, Samson, Keisha, Karen, & Jeanette; his uncles Pierre, Angus Kkailther, Jonathan, & Joey St. Pierre; his aunt Marie Kkailther; his great-grandparents Basil & Madeline Kkailther; & his great-grandparents Gabriel & Angelique Tsannie.

A Wake Service will commence Friday, May 15th, 2026, at the residence of Anne Robillard in Wollaston Lake, SK.

A Funeral Service will take place on Monday, May 18th, 2026, at 2 PM at St. Adrian Roman Catholic Church in Wollaston Lake, SK.

A Lay Service by Therese Benonie.

Interment will take place at the Hatchet Lake Cemetery in Hatchet Lake, SK.

The Honourary Pallbearers are Matt Kkaikka, Chrishelle Josie, Rhonin Herman, Natasha Tsannie, Tracy Joseyounen, Kendra Joseyounen, FMHS staff, Luke Danttouze, Grade 12 graduating class, Aleya Dettanikkeaze, and all those who knew and loved Fion. The Pallbearers are Faron Kkailther, Shane Kkailther, Ethan Hart, Philip Tsannie Jr., Kayven Tsannie, Leroy Dzeylion Jr., Cyril Hansen, Joey (Grant) Sha’Oulle, Troy Joseyounen, Jay Rock Josie, as well as all those who knew and loved Fion.
