FERN, George Leonard Jr., late of Fond du Lac, SK passed away June 18, 2011 in Fond du Lac, SK, at the age of 20 years. George was born September 5, 1990 in Uranium City, SK.
George will be lovingly remembered by his partner: Jamie Lee Naldzil; his stepson: Jase Naldzil; his mother: May Leibel; his step-father: Kevin Leibel; his brothers: Timothy (Bernice), Terry (Brenda), Travis (Darlene), and Tommy (Leona); his sisters: Tiffany Girlie (Chris), Gina Sissy (Donnie), and Dana; his special friends: Sandra & Rodney Augier and Kelly Augier; his grandparents: Helen Robillard, Norbert Fern, Harry & Isabelle Leibel; his Godparents: Freddy & Florance Crookedneck; his Godchildren: Marcus Mercredi, Amelia Toutsaint and Romeo Fern; his nephews: Tyrone, Tyrell, Tim Jr., Logan, Romeo, Amilleo, Bryson, Antonio, and Cyrus; his nieces: Tashia Missy, Tinesha Twigs, Liberty Sunshine and Daina; his aunts and uncles: Flora (Bobby) Augier, Raymond (Shirley) Fern, Dorothy (Willie) Olson, Victor (Maryann) Fern, Linda (Johnny) McDonald, Phillip (Bernice) Fern, Freda (Dennis) McDonald, Arson (Janey) Fern, Napoleon (Rose) Pacquette, Emma (Magloire) McDonald, Dorothy (Micheal) Dunphy, Eilleen (Paul) Adam, John (Lillian) Pacquette, Doris Pische, Bertha (Felix) McDonald, Margie (Mark) Pacquette, and Danny (May Flora) Pacquette;as well as numerous cousins, friends and other relatives from Fond du Lac, Stony Rapids, Black Lake and PACL contractors.
George was predeceased by his father: George Leonard Fern Sr.; his sister: Glenna Fern; his brother: Tyrone Fern; his grandfather: Jules Pacquette; his step-grandfather: Pierre Robillard; his grandmother: Colombe Fern; his auntie & uncles: Irene & Roger Mercredi, David John Pacquette and Gerald Mercredi.
A Visitation will be held Friday June 24, 2011~ 3pm at Northern Funeral Service, MacKenzie Chapel, Prince Albert, SK.
A Wake Service will be held Friday, Saturday & Sunday, June 24, 25 & 26, 2011at the residence of May Leibel, in Fond du Lac, SK.
A Funeral Service will be held Monday June 27, 2011~ 2pm at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Church, Fond du Lac, SK, with Fr. Joseph Daley officiating. Interment in Fond du Lac Cemetery, Fond du Lac, SK.
