It is with great sadness, we mourn the loss of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother Jean Delores Harder, late of Prince Albert, SK on May 31st, 2026, at the age of 91 years. Jean was born and raised in Prince Albert, SK. Jean had a love for animals, especially horses, budgie birds, and Pomeranian dogs. She rode horses in many of the annual Prince Albert fair parades. Jean crocheted many, many Afghan’s, Dolls, and Scarves as gifts for family and friends.
Jean was a devout Christian, loved studying the bible and attending Bible studies. She attended Sunday School and Youth group at the Prince Albert Covenant Church in her younger years, and after high school at PACI, she attended the Covenant Bible Institute. Music was a huge part of Jean’s life. She played the accordion and un her younger years her brothers Walter (Trombone) and Tom (Trumpet) performed as a trio at the church on a regular basis. She also sang with her husband Elvin for church services and special events for many years.
Jean worked at Woolworths as a window dresser early on and later as a bookkeeper for Huel Insulating for many years. Jean and Elvin were fortunate enough to make two enjoyable trips to Maui in 2015 & 2016. They also made several trips to British Columbia for vacations and to visit family.
