Jody Haruko (Kamachi) Read

Jody Haruko Read, formerly of Kamloops, BC, late of Prince Albert, SK passed away in Prince Albert, SK on June 19, 2013 at the age of 75 years. Jody was born in Langley Prairie, BC on September 23, 1937. Jody will be lovingly remembered by her husband: Norman; her sons: Kelly (Aileen) Shibata of Surrey, BC, David (Elaine) Shibata of Kamloops, BC, and Dean (Dana) Shibata of Kamloops, BC; her grandchildren: Liam Shibata of Surrey, BC and Emma Shibata of Kamloops, BC; and her sisters: Teri Otsuka of Denver, CO, Lucy Takasaki of Vancouver, BC and Buck Kamachi of Vancouver, BC. Jody was predeceased by her father and mother: Otoji & Yukie (nee Koreyeda) Kamachi; her sisters: Reiko Kamachi, Kay Nabata and Carol Constable; and her brother: Tosh Kamachi. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 11:00 am, MacKenzie Chapel, 130 9th Street East, Prince Albert, SK. Interment to follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Snowden, SK.
