Halkett, John Julius late of Spiritwood, SK passed away on August 4, 2012 at the age of 72 years. John will be lovingly remembered by: his 4 daughters: Rosie (Charlie) McAdam, Darlene, Charlene (Rob) Roy and Sharon (Francis) Daniels; his step-daughters: Blanche, Mina and Christine Halkett; his step-sons: Elmer Ballantyne and Norman Halkett; his 19 grandchildren; his 29 great-grandchildren; his 10 step-sons; his 2 step-daughters; his adopted brother: Wilson Badger; his sisters: Mary Daniels, Agnes Charles and Sally (Raymond) Charles; As well as numerous nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by: his wife: Charlotte Halkett; his parents: George & Caroline Halkett; his sister: Eva Bird; his brothers: Ishiah Halkett, Bennette Halkett and William Halkett; his nephew: George Halkett; his special friend: Madeline Morin; his brother-in-law: Jack Charles; his son in infancy; his 2 granddaughters in infancy. A Wake Service will commence on August 5, 2012 at Red Hall, Little Red, SK. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday August 7, 2012 at 2:00 PM, Red Hall, Little Red, SK.
