Laura Freda (Hagen) Hedlund

Laura Freda Hedlund, July 27, 1930- March 1, 2012- It is with profound sadness that the family of Laura Hedlund, late of Kinistino, announce her peaceful passing on March 1, 2012 in Prince Albert, SK. Laura was born on July 27, 1930 to Sigurd and Amelia Hagen. Laura married Ernest Hedlund on July 29, 1950, to which they had one child: Larry (Anita) Hedlund. Laura is also survived by one grandchild: Shawna (Shawn) Leonard; two great-grandchildren: Morgan Leonard and Jessica Leonard; her sisters: Linda Johnson, Eileen (Alex) Farkes, Luella Dubais; and her brothers: Gorden (Jean) Hagen and Howard (Suzanne) Hagen; and her sister-in-law Violet Hagen. Laura was predeceased by her parents Sigurd and Amelia Hagen; her sisters: Mabel (John) Barry and Velma (Vic) Hegstrom; her brother Wilfred Hagen; and brothers-in-law: Ray Johnson and Bill Dubois. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, March 9, 2012, at 2:00 pm, at Weldon Rose Hill Cemetery.
