Leonard Mervin Montgrand

MONTGRAND, Leonard Mervin 'Muck', late of Prince Albert, SK passed away on April 28, 2012 in Saskatoon, SK at the age of 42 years. Leonard was born in Ile a la Crosse, SK on May 22, 1969.

He is survived by his life partner and wife of 25 years: Shannon Terry Lafond; his children: Lynden, Brandon, Layten, Patrick and Kylie Dawn Hanson of Penn, USA; his parents: Marius and Virginia Montgrand; his grandfather: Noel Montgrand; his brothers and sister: Allister (Doreen) Montgrand, Agnes Montgrand, Steven 'Chubby' (Margaret) Marceland, Violet (Bruce) Montgrand, Sharon (Duane) Morin, Candice (Rene) Montgrand, Flora Montgrand and Daisy Montgrand; his sisters-in-law: Charlene (Patrick) Breadner, Lanette (Chris) Lafond, Darnell (Kenny) Lafond and Faren Lafond; as well as numerous friends, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.

Leonard was pre-deceased by his grandfathers: Andrew Montgrand and Thomas Bagg; his grandmothers: Flora Montgrand, Annie Bagg and Sophie Montgrand; his aunts: Eva Montgrand and May Sylvester; and his uncle John Montgrand.

A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, May 3, 2012, at 2:00 pm, at St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Turnor Lake, SK. Interment in Turnor Lake Roman Catholic Cemetery, Turnor Lake, SK.
