Leslie Martin McKenzie Achichawinakos, passed away on January 26, 2012 in Grandmothers Bay, SK at the age of 52 years. Leslie will be lovingly remembered by: His 4 daughters: Jessie (Kirky) McKenzie, Carmelina (George) McKenzie, Ernestine (Kirk) McKenzie and Baby Jolene McKenzie; all of Grandmothers Bay. His grandchildren: Dwayne, Travistine, Carlos, Aiden, Cody, Jessal and Danzel; His 4 brothers: Julius (Elsie) McKenzie, Isaac (Susan) McKenzie, Philip (Mary) McKenzie; all of Grandmothers Bay and Peter Jackson; His 3 sisters: Roberta Charles, Nancy (Thompson) Charles, and Jessie (Russell) Charles; all of Grandmothers Bay. His 24 nephews and nieces.
His special nephew:Peter McKenzie. As well as numerous aunts and uncles. Leslie was predeceased by: His wife: Eliza Marilyn (nee Custer) McKenzie; His son:Leslie Dominic Alexander McKenzie; His grandson:Travis McKenzie; his parents:Elias and Alice McKenzie; His father-in-law:Peter Custer; his brothers: William and Johnny McKenzie ;his sister:Marjorie Charles; his brothers-in-law: Hector and Adam Charles; his sister-in-law: Elizabeth Eninew; his nephews: Eli McKenzie, Elais and Philip Charles; his uncles: Johnny S. and William McKenzie; his aunties: Hannah Charles, Marilda Roberts, Bella Rat, and Louisa Sewap; his grandparents: Sally and Philip McKenzie and Nancy and Simeon Charles. A Wake Service for Leslie will be commencing Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at the home of the late Leslie at 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm at Nihithow Awasis School Gym, Grandmothers Bay. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 2:00 pm at St. Peters Anglican Church Johnny McKenzie Memorial Building, Grandmothers Bay.
