It is with great sadness that the family of Paul Peter Joseyounen, late of Wollaston Lake, SK announce his passing on February 28, 2026, in Hatchet Lake, SK at the age of 78 years. Paul was born in Brochet, MB on March 27, 1947, to Peter and Noemi Joseyounen. Paul will be lovingly remembered by his wife Veronica Joseyounen; his children Helen Joseyounen, Verna Joseyounen, Bruce Fish (Christine) Joseyounen, Peter Joseyounen, Jenny Joseyounen, Christopher Joseyounen, Vanessa Joseyounen; his grandchildren Hayden, Vernen, Vera, Kanysha, Christyanna, Breanna, Jannie, Jayna, Josie, Heather Christa Christy, Loga, Noami, Kanye; his great-grandchild Grant; his godsons Patrick Josie & Rudi Tsannie; his brothers Angus (Rose) Joseyounen, Raymond (Claudette) Joseyounen; his sisters Ailla Besskkaystare, Judy (Jean Marie) Tsannie, Florence (Simon) Tsannie; his in-laws Marie Joseyounen, Bernadette Danttouze, Lucy Merasty, Adele St. Pierre, Jonas (Mary) Sha Oullie, Gilbert (Lena) Sha Oullie, Margaret (Emil) Dzeylion, Bobby Sha Oullie, Tom (Jeanette) Sha Oullie; his best friend: George Kasayon; As well as numerous friends from Wollaston Lake, Lac Brochet MB. Paul was predeceased by his parents Peter & Noemi Joseyounen; his brothers Abraham & Napoleon Joseyounen; his sister Mary Ann Joseyounen; his brother-in-law Bapatiste Besskkaystare; his cousins Alex, Adam, Napoleon, Robert Joseyounen, Eleonore Besskkay Stare (Joseph), Jonas Joseyounen; his uncles & aunties Joseph (Susanna), Moise (Marie), Victoria (JB) Antsanen, Johnny (Lucia), JB (Eva); his in-laws Sandy Danttouze, Abraham Samuel, Adam Merasty, Peter St. Pierre; his nieces & nephews Kimberly Tsannie, Rylynn Joseyounen, Abraham Jr. Samuel, Celine Sameaul, Lisa Samuel, Trina St. Pierre; his stepfather Alexander Dzeylion. A Wake Service will be commencing Tuesday March 3rd, 2026, at the Residence of Veronica Joseyounen in Wollaston Lake, SK. A Funeral Service on Thursday March 5th, 2026, at 2PM at St. Adrians Roman Catholic Church in Wollaston Lake, SK. The Officiant will be Father Joji. The Honourary Pallbearers are Toby Joseyounen, Gabriel Joseyounen, Angus Joseyounen, Raymond Joseyounen, Jean Marie Tsannie, Marie Joseyounen, Illa Besskkaystare, Florence Tsannie, Judy Tsannie, Sylvia Tsannie, Rose Joseyounen, and all those who shared in Pauls life.
