Phyllis Schutte Obituary

The family of Phyllis Mae Schutte sadly announces her passing on October 19, 2013 in Prince Albert, at the age of 91 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Elwood (Gloria) Schutte of Prince Albert, SK, Sharon (Al) Fraser of Caroline, AB and Grant Schutte of Melfort, SK; her grandchildren: Nicole (Tim)Toutant of Prince Albert, SK, Stephen Schutte of Prince Albert, SK, Tanya Dienes of Edmonton, AB, Paris Dienes of Leduc, AB, Brody Chester of Prince Albert, SK, Jeffrey (Kristie) Fraser of Calgary, AB, Cameron (Angela) Fraser of Calgary, AB, Amanda Schutte of Saskatoon, SK, Noelle Schutte of Saskatoon, SK, and Ariel Schutte of Melfort, SK; her great grandchildren: Cassidy and Ethan Schutte and Shaylene Dienes and Tyler and Eric Fraser; her ex-daughter-in laws Lynn Schutte of Shell Lake, SK and Lisa Schutte of Prince Albert, SK. and the many children that brought Phyllis much joy in her final years on the acreage. As well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Phyllis was predeceased by her husband: Leonard; her parents: Alice & Bill Headrick; her brothers: Bud and Irvine; and her sisters: Doris and Alice Sissy. Phyllis was born to Alice & Bill Headrick in the Brighthome District where her parents farmed. She was married to Leonard Schutte on May 6, 1941 they farmed together in Parkside, SK until Leonards passing in 1969, when she moved to Prince Albert. Phyllis worked on completing her grade 12, and then went on to work at S. S.Kressges Dept. Store, CO-OP Bakery, Codvilles and Mont St. Josephs. Phyllis was known for her great sense of humor she loved gardening, and children, her apple pie with homemade crust and homemade bread was the best. At Phylliss request there will be no Funeral; the family will hold a Graveside Ceremony May,6, 2014 in the Parkside Cemetery. Arrangements in care of Northern Funeral Service, MacKenzie Chapel.
