Ralph Swanson Obituary
SWANSON- Ralph H., late of Prince Albert, passed away on Wednesday July 13, 2011 at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert at 87 years of age. Ralph was born on February 16th, 1924 in Cabri, SK to Gustaf and Ella Swanson. Ralph and Martha met when on a July bus trip to Alaska in 1991. They became engaged later that same year on December 21st. Ralph and Martha were then married on June 27th, 1992 in the Sacred Heart Cathedral by Rev. Deacon Louis Doderai. Both Ralph and Martha have enjoyed their many travels to Lake Havasu, Arizona for several winters, to the Black Hills, to the Maritimes, the Bahamas on a Carnival Cruise, Vancouver Island, Thunder Bay, Ottawa, Branson Missouri and to Lake Manitou to their cabin for many beautiful summers.
Left to cherish Ralphs memory is his wife Martha; his brothers Walter Swanson, Lloyd (LaNorma) Swanson and Elmer (Trish) Swanson; sisters-in-law Madeleine Marchildon, Jeannette Heroux, Lorraine (Ernest) Laliberte, Lizette Kehrig, and Marjorie (Leonide) Langlois; his brothers-in-law Mitchell (Sharon) Revoy and Daniel Revoy; his niece Myrna (Richard) Baker, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Among his many friends he will be missed especially by Deek Dookhun, his very close friend.
Ralph was predeceased by his parents Gustaf & Ella Swanson; his sister Doris (Lars) Lloyd; his brothers Arthur Swanson and Dean Swanson; his mother & father-in-law Emile & Etolia May Revoy; his brothers-in-law Emile, David George, Philippe, Wilfred and Werner.
In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations may be made to Kinsmen Telemiracle, 2217 C Hanselman Court, Saskatoon, SK S7L 6A8. A Funeral Service will be heldMonday July 18, 2011 at 2:30 pmat Sacred Heart Cathedral with Father Maurice Fiolleau officiating. Interment at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens to follow.
