Thomas Caron Obituary

Thomas Marcien Caron, late of Muskoday, passed away in Prince Albert, SK on November 29, 2012 at the age of 74 years. Tom was well known in surrounding communities. He was always willing to help our where ever there and whatever was happening. He was a good bannock maker and he was asked by many club to bake bannock for them. He enjoyed playing bingo and worked bingo for Muskoday Fire Department and he was security for the pow wow at Muskoday. He worked bingo for Local 269. He helped out the carpenters at Muskoday housing. He worked security for the community of Muskoday for several years. He enjoyed going to Back to Batoche where he grew up and took in the Fall Festivals. He enjoyed going to dry dances. He was also night security for the Muskoday Community School. Tom was a wonderful husband and a great father. He had a big heart. Tom enjoyed playing cards. Tom will be lovingly remembered by: his loving wife: Linda Caron; his children: Randy Caron (Cynthia) of Saskatoon, Bernel Caron (Gale) of Saskatoon, Diane (Brian) Anderson of Saskatoon, Louis (Lynn) Caron of Saskatoon, Dale (Elaine) Caron of Saskatoon and Jason Naytowhow of Prince Albert; Tom and Lindas children: Brock Pederson of Muskoday, Brittany Pederson of Muskoday, Cassandra Pederson (Terry) of Muskoday and Jasmine Pederson of Muskoday; his siblings: Lillian Kotlarchuk of Edmonton, Hilda (Bill) Kuttnik of Edmonton, Gertie (Laurent) Richard of St. Louis, Annette (Rud) Nuszdorfer of Saskatoon and Nora (Marcien) Regnier of Saskatoon; his 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; Tom and Linda have 11 grandchildren; his step-children: Dion Pederson of Prince Albert, Cori (Donna) Pederson of Muskoday and Holly (Ferris) Newell of Prince Albert; As well as numerous nieces and nephews. Thomas was predeceased by: his parents: Albert and Marjorie Caron; his sisters: Agnes Michalchuk and Evelyn Boyer; his brother: Joe Caron; his brothers-in-law: Ed Kotlarchuk, Frank Michalchuk and Joe Boyer; his sister-in-law: Agat Caron; his step-son: Monty Pederson; his niece: Melissa Johnson; and his nephew: Leland Johnson. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 2:00 pm at the Muskoday Band Hall, Muskoday, SK with Arch Deacon Andrew Hoskin officiating. Interment to follow at St. James Anglican Church. Arrangements in care of Northern Funeral Service, MacKenzie Chapel.
