Verna Collins

COLLINS- Verna May (Shain), late of Parkside, SK, passed away June 5, 2011 in Shellbrook, SK at the age of 69 years. Verna was born May 14, 1942 in Coranach, SK. Verna will be lovingly remembered by her children: Ellen Watier of Holbien, Cathy (Les) Porter of Parkside and Randy (Colleen) Collins of Parkside; her grandsons: Layton, Jordan, Steven, Tyrel, Ryan, Matthew, Justin and Joshua; her sisters: Phyllis Wolfe of Outlook, Heather and Linda; her brother: Gordon Shain; her brothers-in-law: Paul Selko of Shellbrook and Len McCormick of Delburne, AB; her friend: Rita Delisle; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Verna was predeceased by her husband Lorne Collins; her parents: Albert & Ella Shain; her sisters: Wanda Shain, Melba Shain, Diane McCormick and Margaret (Allan) Rowat; her brother: Allan Shain; her niece: Bonnie Chueluck; and her sister-in-law: Myrna Selko. A Funeral Service was held Friday June 10, 2011 ~ 2:00 pm at Parkside Lutheran Church, Parkside, SK, with Pastor Chris Dean officiating. Interment at Honeywood Cemetery, Parkside, SK.
