Walter McKay Obituary

MCKAY-Walter, late of Prince Albert, SK passed away peacefully on December 7, 2010 with his loving wife and brother Chuck by his side, at the Victoria Union Hospital. He was born on February 28, 1944 in Paddockwood, SK. Walter was a Journey Man Plumber prior to his illness. He was employed by First General Services where he made many friends and missed them dearly. Walter leaves to mourn his loving wife Doreen; mother Clara Wicker; son Joe and Robin ; daughter Shannon (Rob); grandchildren Chelsea, Jessie and Chantel, David and Niki; son-in-law Dave; brothers Jim (Joyce), Chuck (Evelyn), Bill (Shirley) and Rob (Marilyn); sisters-in-law Marlene, Linda, Flo and Evelyn; brothers-in-law Doug, Hugh, Donald and Bob Cook (Shirley); as well as many many nieces, nephews and cousins; and his special friends that he made throughout the years. Walter was predeceased by his stepfather Roy Wicker; daughter Tami; brothers Hugh and Norm; sisters Ada and Iona. At Walters request there will be no Service. The family asks that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of donors choice.
