Yvonne Rosie (Bird) Pickup

PICKUP (nee BIRD), Mrs. Yvonne Rosie- late of Prince Albert, SK, passed away August 23, 2011 in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 59 years. Yvonne was born May 27, 1952 in Mistawasis First Nation, SK.

Yvonne is survived by her loving family: her children: Brenda (Dwayne) Gaudry of One Arrow First Nation, George Bird of Duck Lake, SK, and Claudine (James) Byrd of Prince Albert, SK; her siblings: Evelyn (Robert) Bird of Prince Albert, SK, Raine Bird of Calgary, AB, David Bird of Saskatoon, SK, Eva Bird of Saskatoon, SK and John (Marlene) Watson of St. Louis, SK; her eleven grandchildren; her three great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Yvonne was predeceased by: her parents: Melasippie Watson and Emma Charles (nee Ballantyne); her husband John Pickup; her daughter Ginger Nichole St. Denis; her grandson Chet Raymond ONeil Bird; her sisters: Olive Blanche, Margaret, Christina and Janet; and her brothers: Alex, Raymond, Solomon, Richard, Thomas and George.

A Visitiation will be held Friday, August 26, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Northern Funeral Service, MacKenzie Chapel, Prince Albert. A Funeral will be held Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Northern Funeral Service, MacKenzie Chapel, Prince Albert with Rev. Bev Shepansky officiating. Interment at South Hill Cemetery, Prince Albert.
